I'll be working in the Work In Progress Gallery at Artisphere in Arlington Virginia from Wednesday to Friday this week. All the details are listed here... Beginning in July 2004, Richmond, Virginia based visual artist Mickael Broth began serving a ten month jail sentence for graffiti he painted in the region. Since his release, he has worked as a fine artist and sign painter, showing work around the country in venues that range from abandoned warehouses to museum walls. Next Friday I am part of two group shows that are opening. One is being curated by my good friend Josh Rodenberg at Commonwealth in Portland Oregon. The show is titled "With Much Haste" and features my work alongside my partner in Born Ugly, James "Barf" Callahan, and the indisputable Rob Lee. The other show is also curated by a good friend, Ed Trask. That show will be at Slingluff Gallery in Philadephia PA. We'll be there! Come say hey.
