Born Ugly shirt graphic created in collaboration with James Callahan. I drew the logo, he drew the skeleton shredder, and a few back and forth sketches yielded a big, bold inverted cross to hold it all together. Like chocolate and peanut butter! Without being too modest, I must say this is one of the greatest designs ever put on a shirt.

Nutzy logo revamp. In early 2010, Richmond Virginia got a new minor league baseball team. They were illogically named The Flying Squirrels (which don’t live anywhere near Richmond). Even more ill conceived was their mascot, Nutzy the overty threatening looking WWII propaganda poster inspired rodent. The very first thing I thought when I saw the logo in the newspaper was, “They called it Nutzy AND made it look like it’s sieg heil-ing… Come on!” So naturally I felt obligated to drive the nail into the obvious-coffin… hence, Neo Nutzy the goose-stepping rodent.
